Sept. 7, 2015 – For the third time in four years the Indianapolis Indians have qualified for the International League postseason. The Tribe are the league’s Wild Card berth, and after a Victory Field single-season attendance record of 662,536 fans and a hard-fought campaign on the field, the Indians’ message to fans this postseason is “every game counts.”

Presented by Ivy Tech with additional support from Indiana National Guard, PPG Paints and Brighthouse Networks, Victory Field will host Games 1 and 2 on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 9 and 10 as the Indians (83-61) face International League North Division champion Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (81-63) in a best-of-five series. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. The remainder of the series will be played in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sept. 11-13. The IL postseason consists of two rounds.

PURCHASE TICKETS:

— AND —

The very popular Dollar Menu promotion will be in effect for all Victory Field playoff games. Hot dogs, peanuts, Cape Cod Potato Chips, CRACKERJACK™ and popcorn are just $1 each.

Tickets are on sale at the regular season prices of $16 (box), $12 (reserved) and $10 (lawn), but fans save $2 when they purchase at least a day in advance at the ballpark box office or before midnight the day of the game at indyindians.com.

Flex Plan vouchers and Knot Hole Kids Club passes will be accepted, while groups of 25 or more will receive $3 off per seat, and $4 off for groups of at least 100. Suite tickets and access to The Coors Light Cove remain at normal regular season pricing.

Tickets are available now on IndyIndians.com, and at the Victory Field Box Office starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8 (317-269-2282). A ticket for any un-played playoff game becomes a raincheck voucher that may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket to any 2016 Indians regular season home game excluding July 4.

The Indians are asking fans to support the team by wearing white throughout the playoffs. To help with this “white out” effort the first 1,000 fans to Games 1 and 2 will receive a special edition white playoff t-shirt.

Indians home games are televised on Home Town Sports & News (HTSN), and all games are broadcast on Fox Sports 97.5/AM 1260, the iheartradio mobile app and at IndyIndians.com.
