INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Indians continue their push for the playoffs with six games against International League West Division rivals, the Louisville Bats (August 17-20) and the Toledo Mud Hens (August 21-22). The homestand begins with the final chances this season for fans to enjoy Kids Eat Free Sunday (Aug. 17) and the Monday Dollar Menu (Aug. 18), and ends on a promotion-packed Friday (Aug. 22) that features an Indianapolis Clowns Jersey auction, Faith and Fellowship Night festivities and a Friday Fireworks show.

Kids Eat Free – For the final time during the 2014 season, lunch for the kids is on the Indians as children ages 14 and under receive a voucher for one hot dog, a bottle of water and one bag of chips with the price of admission.
Rowdie Jersey T-shirt Giveaway – The first 2,500 patrons through Victory Field’s turnstiles will receive a Jersey T-shirt featuring Indianapolis Indians’ award-winning mascot Rowdie, courtesy of Dairy Queen and Kaplan University.

RBI Night – Regions Bank generously donated 1,000 tickets for members of Play Ball Indiana, the local chapter of Major League Baseball’s RBI Program or Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities, to come out and enjoy the contest as the culmination to a season long partnership.
Regions Bank and Play Ball Indiana partnered with the Indians to host Financial Literacy events at Victory Field throughout the season. During these events, kids from PBI and other area not for profits took part in a financial literacy workshop, received a stadium tour, and took some swings in the batting cages with Indians players

Back on My Feet Awareness Night – Back on My Feet, which is a national organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness transform their own lives and achieve employment and independent living, will be on-hand to participate in a ceremonial first pitch and staff an informational display in the PNC Plaza, located in center field.

Indianapolis Clowns Jersey Auction – The Indians will honor the baseball history of Indianapolis by donning throwback red, white and blue jerseys of the former Negro League team the Indianapolis Clowns. The jerseys worn by Tribe players and coaches will be available for auction during the contest, with all proceeds to benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
All Indianapolis Indians jersey auctions are powered by Qtego, which allows fans to bid on jerseys via text or over the phone.
Faith and Fellowship Night – Along with Shine 88.3 FM, the Indians will host the annual Faith & Fellowship Night at Victory Field, during which fans with tickets to the contest can enjoy a pre-game concert from Carrollton and listen to a faith-based speech from an Indians player in front of section 120 from 5:40 to 6:20 p.m.
Friday Night Fireworks – Fans are invited to stick around after the game to catch a fantastic Friday Night Fireworks show courtesy of Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance and ERMCO.
