Indianapolis Indians 2013 Playoff Information

Your Indianapolis Indians are International League West Division champions for the second year in a row! This means summer is going into extra innings at Victory Field, as the Tribe will now host playoff baseball in downtown Indianapolis!

Your IL West Division Champion Indians will play Games 1 and 2 of their best-of-five series on the road on Sept. 4 and 5, before returning to Victory Field on Sept. 6 to conclude the series.

First-round playoff games at Victory Field are scheduled for:

Friday, September 6 at 7:05 p.m. (Game 3)
Saturday, September 7* at 7:05 p.m. (Game 4)
Sunday, September 8* at 7:05 p.m. (Game 5)

*best-of-five series begins on the road, so Games 4-5 (Sept. 7-8) will be played, asnecessary, until Indianapolis or its opponent wins three games.

The Indians will kick-off their playoff celebration on Friday, Sept. 6 at Victory Field. Festivities for the event will include a free special edition playoff T-shirt for the first 2,500 fans and a post-game fireworks show to cap off the evening.

Fans can also enjoy Monday Dollar Menu pricing of $1 for hot dogs, peanuts, Cracker Jack, popcorn and potato chips during all home playoff contests.

If your Indians win the opening playoff series, the Governors’ Cup Championship Round will then be held in a best-of-five format from Sept. 10-14, with the Tribe guaranteed to host Games 1 and 2 at Victory Field on:

Tuesday, September 10 at 7:05 p.m. (Game 1)
Wednesday, September 11 at 7:05 p.m. (Game 2)

Tickets to unplayed playoff games can be used as rain checks for all home games during the 2014 season, excluding July 4.
