INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Indians closer Vic Black, shortstop Josh Harrison, starting southpaw Kris Johnson and catcher Tony Sanchez have all been named to the 2013 International League Midseason All-Star team. The Tribe’s four selections are the most among any team in the IL and the most for the Indians since 2005.

“We are very excited about the four Indianapolis Indians players who have been selected to play in the Triple-A All-Star Game,” said Indians Vice President and General Manager Cal Burleson. “While several of our players have advanced to Pittsburgh, and have played a role in the Pirates having the best record in the Major Leagues this season, this is a great indication that we still have a lot of outstanding talent in Indianapolis.”
