INDIANAPOLIS — Courtesy of a continued partnership with AT&T, the first-place Indianapolis Indians will host MLB Hall-Of-Famer and 13-time Gold Glove Award winning shortstop Ozzie Smith at Victory Field this Saturday, June 8. The former St. Louis Cardinals great will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the PNC Plaza, located in center field.
As part of the Signature Saturdays promotional series, the Indians are proud to announce that Smith will headline this Saturday’s 7:05 p.m. contest with an autograph session fans won’t want to miss. Over his 19-year Major League career, Smith was selected to 15 MLB All-Star squads, led the St. Louis Cardinals to the 1982 World Series title, won a Silver Slugger Award and was named the recipient of both the Roberto Clemente Award and Lou Gehrig Memorial Award for sportsmanship and integrity on and off the field.
Patrons attending the event are encouraged to bring any item they wish to have signed by the MLB legend, with the limit of one autograph per person.
