One of the most common New Year’s resolutions is to get healthy in the new year. You can’t know what your SMART goals are, though, unless you know where you’re starting from.
Victory Field, as a part of White River State Park, is teaming up with Wishard Health Services for the second consecutive year to offer FREE health screenings at Victory Field on Monday, January 16th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
There’s free parking at the ballpark on January 16th, so drive over on your lunch break and take advantage of this opportunity.
The health care professionals from Wishard will offer blood pressure checks, fire prevention safety and general information about Wishard services. Nurses will also be available to discuss the importance of primary and preventive care. Wishard will also have a booth and representatives on hand with information about the new Eskenazi Health set to open in 2014.
You can even bring the kids if they’re off school that day. Rowdie, the Indians mascot, will stop by for autographs from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.!
Mark your calendar and don’t miss out on this opportunity for health and wellness in 2012.
Every person who completes a health screening at Victory Field on Monday, January 16th will receive two free tickets to the Indians home opener. The Indians take on the Toledo Mud Hens on Friday, April 13th at 7: 15 p.m.
